Each FONDATIONS collection is made in France, in small batches. We choose every material for its quality, its presence, and its impact; on those who use it, and on what surrounds it.

The fragrances are composed in France. Vegan, phthalate-free, and made without added CMR substances. They don’t pretend to be all natural. They are partly composed of synthetic molecules, by choice: for the precision of a note, for its staying power, and to preserve certain rare naturals that we choose not to exhaust. And for notes that grow nowhere, except in our emotions.

The wax is 100% plant-based, with no paraffin or petrochemical derivatives. It burns cleanly, without the traces left by mineral wax. Formulated to carry the olfactive compositions and release them both cold and warm, it lets the scent unfold without ever taking over.

As it cools, the wax may leave behind a few bubbles, ripples, or a slight relief. Nothing is perfectly smooth. It is simply the nature of plant-based wax, settling at its own pace. It does not affect the burn or the way the fragrance diffuses.

The wick is made from pure cotton, ensuring a clean, steady burn. Depending on the scent, each candle can burn for 60 to 70 hours.

The stainless steel vessel is made to last, and to live beyond the flame. Recyclable, it can become a catch-all, a vase, or a tumbler.

The box is made in Europe from 100% recycled paper, then finished by hand to give each one its own character.

Our ceramic bases are sculpted and glazed by hand in our workshops in France. They are released in occasional collections, at the pace of the studio, never the calendar. Each piece is unique. It carries the trace of the gesture that shaped it: nuances, roughness, irregularities. That is what gives each object its singular character.
