BEFORE YOU LIGHT IT

Store candles away from heat and direct sunlight.

Trim the wick to 5 mm before every burn.

THE FIRST BURN

Let the entire surface of the wax melt before extinguishing the candle. Allow at least two hours for the first burn. This helps the wax burn evenly in future uses. Do not burn for more than three hours at a time.

WHILE IT BURNS

Never leave a burning candle unattended.

Keep away from children and pets.

Keep away from curtains, paper and anything else that could catch fire.

Place the candle on a stable, heat-resistant surface.

Do not burn in a draught.

Never move the candle while it is burning. The vessel can become very hot.

PROTECT YOUR SURFACES

Place the candle on its sculpted base or on a stable, heat-resistant surface.

Do not place it directly on delicate or heat-sensitive surfaces.

TO EXTINGUISH

Blow out the flame gently or use a candle snuffer.

Do not use water to extinguish the candle.

Allow the vessel to cool completely before touching or moving it.

AFTER EACH BURN

While the wax is still liquid, gently recenter the wick if needed.

As the wax cools, small bubbles, ripples or slight variations on the surface may appear. This is a natural characteristic of plant-based wax and does not affect the candle’s performance.

WHEN THE CANDLE IS FINISHED

When the metal wick tab becomes visible, stop using the candle.

Do not relight it.

Every order is prepared with care. In-stock products are dispatched within 10 business days. A tracking email will reach you as soon as your order is on its way.

If your parcel or product arrives damaged, contact us as soon as possible at bonjour@fondationsfondations.com, ideally within 14 days of delivery, with photos of the outer parcel, the label, the inner packaging and the product.

RETURNS & REFUNDS

You have 14 days from receipt to return your order. Items must be unused, unopened, in their original condition and returned with their original packaging.

Before sending anything back, please contact us at bonjour@fondationsfondations.com.

Once your return has been received and inspected, your refund will be issued to the original payment method within 14 days.

PURCHASE & PAYMENT

Payment is made at the time of purchase and securely processed by Shopify’s payment providers. Fondations never has access to your banking details.

An order confirmation and electronic invoice will be sent to you by email.
